We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want you to know that you can relax at Hillview. We are a church filled with imperfect people trying to navigate life centered around Jesus.
Each of our services includes straightforward, practical preaching in which the Bible is taught and Jesus Christ is emphasized. You will enjoy the uplifting and dynamic music. You will be encouraged to find many others seeking to know God better, just like you!
WHAT TO EXPECT.
All are welcome!
You can expect to be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers that will help you get to the right place. Each Sunday morning beginning at 10:00AM our church provides refreshments and an opportunity to connect with fellow believers. Our morning worship service begins at 10:30AM and generally lasts an hour.
What to wear?
We do not have a dress code at Hillview Baptist Church. Our desire is to make our guest feel as comfortable as possible. You may notice that our ministry leaders will dress in a more traditional “Sunday” dress. Regardless of what you wear, please know that you are welcomed at Hillview.
Where do I go?
Once you find your parking spot, you will see plenty of signage that will point you to what you are looking for. You should also be greeted by one of our volunteers that can assist you in finding the nursery, kids class, and main worship service.
What if I'm not a Baptist?
What if I’m not a Baptist? You do not need to be a Baptist to attend our church. We desire to faithfully teach and preach the Word of God and point people to Christ.
What do I do during the offering?
NOTHING! Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering as a guest. Each week members and regular attendees of Hillview take part in our weekly offering. Our guests are not expected or encouraged to give during this time.
